Or find interesting?

DH and I volunteer at a charity thrift store and we worked yesterday.  My fellow volunteers do such a great job arranging the displays that I thought I would brag on them a little and also took some pics (small sampling) to show you what we have to offer.

Do you like going to thrift/antique stores?

We have customers that come far and wide, and also those that come every day.  Our volunteers are not only full time AZ residents but snow birds as well.  Of the snow bird volunteers they come as far away as Alaska and Germany.

We love volunteering there and this is the start of our ninth year.

Pezzie; Love that large basket in the first photo, far right, lower shelf.  Is it still available?  If so, how much?

@Pezzie.  Wow, what a nice shop.  I'll take one of everything "horsey".  I prefer the more primitive over the fine China.  The volunteers are to be commended on their merchandising skills.

Maybe a road trip is in my future....

They have many of these types of stores on Cape Cod and when we are out there we stop and browse often.  It is fun to see what they have as you never know what you will find.  Though we hardly purchase anymore, as we all have stated on here we just have too much stuff already, LOL!   It's an enjoyable pastime though.

Those purple goblets are identical to ones my mother-in-law collected.   They are such a lovely purple.Amethyst Purple with Square Crystal Stem 7 H Vase or Glass Vintage image 1

How lucky you are to work there.  Does your wallet survive the first dibs?

I am a total sucker for any type of woven work.  Nice pieces.

@Pezzie The displays and theme tables are expertly done. Please tell your fellow volunteers "job well done."

@Pezzie You have a great thrift store.  Generous people and good stuff for sale.  I have 3+ thrift stores near me, in a nice neighborhood, they have nothing like this!

Re: See Anything You Like…

We have enjoyed going to many of these types of stores and sales through the years.  But our house is jam-packed, so I will never buy anything unless I know where I will put it.
