Not only am I scared to have a root canal, but the cost of it, and the chance I may eventually have to have it pulled anyhow really concerns me. I've heard that it's not uncommon for root canals to "fail". I know some people end up having to have the tooth pulled years (or maybe months) later.
I have always been determined to keep all of my teeth as long as I can, but I'm now wondering if it is even wise to get this root canal. Any thoughts or experiences?
Oh, and please don't tell me anything scary!
