How in the world did "Dr" Phil get involved in this?

@DiAnne Her father wanted to get the word out about Gabby. It was taped a few days ago before the body was found. He was a very reliable source of information. He remained calm and thanked Dr. Phil at the end of the interview. It was on today. There was no postscript about a body being found.

nosy neighbors    LOL

So many people nowadays have cameras - doorbell cameras, outside mounted cameras on their garages, outside protection services, etc....I wonder if there is any film footage that would show the Mustang driving down the road and who the driver was etc...?

Although I'm sure the police are canvasing the neighborhood for this type of thing or clues of this type.  That Mustang is a nice looking vehicle and Mustangs are typically vroom vroom louder than the average vehicle, maybe the neighbors hadn't heard it being started or driven off lately.

Re: Search Warrant for Brian Laundrie

There were people, mostly teenagers, outside screaming so anyone would leave. The parents have stayed, likely to protect their property. I suspect he's in NY with relatives. The media is promoting this along with attention seekers making up stories that have gone unchallenged. Photo of a man was broadcast as possibly Brian. That the man's arm was covered in tattoos that Brian doesn't have didn't  seem to matter

Re: Search Warrant for Brian Laundrie

In reading through the replies,  I didn't realize that Brian was from NY as well. I knew that Gabby was, but not him.  Did Gabby know Brian in NY and move to FL with him?  I just figured that she moved to FL and met him once she got down there.  Not important; just curious.  My gut tells me that Brian is too much of a coward to kill himself.  My guess is that he has flown the coop and the whole story about 'hiking at the wildlife reserve' was a decoy set up with his parents to have law enforcement occupied while he left the state.  Time will tell.   I'm happy that they found Gabby quickly and that it didn't turn into a cold case.  At least it gave the family closure.   I just hope that Brian is found quickly as well.

It seems likely that they broke up and he flew home and moved her things into a storage unit. Then she contacted him, didn't want to drive the van or travel on her own so she joined another person or group and wanted him to return and drive the van home. To me, that makes the most sense. Why else would he return for the van, especially if he knew she was dead?

If he killed her, he would have driven the van home or left it and flown home.

@occasionalrain  Is there any evidence of this "likely" scenario that he left her in Utah and flew home? Then her returned to Utah and retrieved the van but left her there. And somewhere along the way he put her things in a storage unit. If there was a shred of truth in this it would be easily traced. And if this were true why would he be in hiding if this could clear his name?

Re: Search Warrant for Brian Laundrie

What gets me is, they had him and didn't do anything about it till he was gone from his parents' house. THEN they decided they'd talk to him. Too late, guys. Also, the "person of interest" is a misnomer if I ever heard one.
