@RetRN  This is not something that should preempt programming of whatever kind. The news folks have gone off the deep end trying to stay relevant. As sad as this situation might be, it doesn't warrant 'breaking news' status, which really should be reserved for news of great national or international importance.

Re: Search Warrant for Brian Laundrie

I could be wrong re: Cuba, but I believe that residents of other countries have been traveling to Cuba on vacations for years and years.

Maybe I was dreaming or imagining, but hasn't this been true re: other countries' travelers for many years visiting Cuba?

Re: Search Warrant for Brian Laundrie

I just took a look:

'Tourism in Cuba'  (Wikipedia)

It's been a vacation spot for many people for many years.  (Not the US)

Well, maybe not now because of Covid.

Now that I'm thinking about it, the person of interest would have an easier time entering and hiding somewhere else.

@KingstonsMom My feeling is that if he kills himself it's because he doesn't want to have to pay the penalty for murder.

Re: Search Warrant for Brian Laundrie

I still think he is out of the (our) country.

I don't know how easy it is or isn't to cross the border into M*xico........

Disguised, etc.

I believe 'others' have side-tracked law enforcement into looking elsewhere, where 'he' isn't.

Just my intuition.  I've been wrong before.

Re: Search Warrant for Brian Laundrie

The entire situation leaves more unanswered questions on everyone's part including law enforcement. I recognize his parents want to protect him BUT you can only do so much. For them not to address the situation from day one expressing their concern with Gabby's disappearance tells me the apple (their son) didn't fall far from the tree!

Regarding law enforcement, they dropped the ball on this one.  How can the entire nation come to a conclusion based on what little facts we had and law enforcement claim 'they were concerned with finding Gabby' not overly concerned that he would RUN.  I believe his parents have dug themselves a big one trying to cover for him.

@ROMARY

 As a person that has traveled to Mexico many times, having to cross the border in San Ysidro  for pleasure when i was younger, and then for several years due to work. It's not hard at all. You can either walk across the border or drive. I am so glad that I do not have to do that anymore. :-)

@ROMARY

This was Pre-Covid so I am not sure if it's changed. The last time that I crossed into Mexico was in 2017.

He'll be found. How can you not use charge cards ? His face is out there and more popular then the Presidents.

He sealed his fate when he jumped ship. That whole family will be followed everytime they go to the mailbox.  Matter of time.

@Love my grandkids

 If he were looking for a country from which he would not likely face  extradition if found ,   than Cuba may be it.
