Im sure this is upsetting for the families of the victims but it was like looking for a needle in a haystack. It will be one of the great mysteries of our times. Perhaps some time a piece of wreckage will wash ashore that will give us some answers.

Some day it will be found.
Those few pieces that have washed on shore only create more quesions than answers.
I believe that it is at the bottom of the ocean somewhere. Maybe in a deep trench.
Look at how long it took us to find the Titanic, and we knew where it sank.

It has to be somewhere.
Maybe one day it will be found...

There would be no bodies left, their souls are elsewhere, they certainly tried to find that plane.

It's a very big ocean and a relatively small plane. If the plane broke up on impact it would likely have left very little behind in the way of a sonar footprint.
When you look at how long it took the experts to find theTitanic or Bismarck, two ships that sunk in relatively modern times and whose sinkings were witnessed, then the difficulty of finding a smaller aircraft that disappeared with no witnesses is understandable.
Probably the best analogy would be a single grain of sand is lost somewhere in your house. You don't know where it is and there's no beacon or clue as to where it is, just that it's in there somewhere. It could also have broken up into several smaller pieces so it would resemble dust more than a grain of sand. There may also be other grains of sand that aren't the grain of sand you're looking for. Good luck in finding the specific grain of sand that's missing.
The real opportunity to find the plane was in the first few hours/days after it went down. The beacons on the plane should have still been working then. Unfortunately they were looking in the wrong place at the time and missed that opportunity. By now, there's likely little left in the way of human remains, so even finding the plane would likely yield little in the way of anything of value to the families. Bones might still be intact, but even those would eventually dissolve away in the seawater.

Let me guess.
The plane was hijacked, and flown to some remote place, where it is being kept in a hanger.
It has since been re-painted, and the passengers are being held against their will, if they are still alive.
The bad guys will one day use that plane to attck us.
