It's unlikely, but I hope this POS will still get 20 years and never be eligible for parole.

I highly doubt it.  His lawyers will argue for time served, I'm sure.  It would be nice to see him get at least a few years, but somehow these lowlifes always seem to have a way to get off lightly, unlike the average Joe on the street.

Unfortunately true for celebs and wealthy people.

I will reply here with my same remarks in the other thread:

Not surprised and as a female I am okay with this EXCEPT for the way that he beat her up!  I was talking to another girlfriend last night about it and we agreed that while this lifestyle makes no sense to us, it is what some people do and I am not here to judge how they spend their time and money.  Most of these people were there willingly and enjoyed the exposure at the time.  Money and drugs bring in some rather odd situations.

I will be booed out of this chat and that is fine also.

@Seminole2

Sorry, but the FBI wouldn't have spent months investigating him, and the judge not granting bail isn't because of his so-called "lifestyle".

Many people were hurt, and I can't believe you're okay with that.

So after all this time he is basically found guilty of being a Pimp.  I doubt he will be in prison more than a half a dozen years and I am sure he will still have plenty of funds to start over doing something somewhere.  His reputation is toast and I feel for his children.

I read about a few lawsuits that are being filed against him too. Might be some payouts!

I dont know what happened.

Late last night, early this AM, the Jury found  Counts 2 thru Count 5 = GUILTY.  But the Jury was stuck for any Verdict on Count 1, so the Judge gave the Jury a "talk" to keep them plugging along at Count 1 for definitive Verdict.  Then we now see these Verdicts.

@Sooner   My point is that it's true to your comment to my post "If that is true."

@Mz iMac Thanks.  Sometimes I'm dense.  I just feel so sorry for his family, and I think this has set back a lot of cases women would have (I know not all of them are what they claim to me) for bad treatment and people using and abusing them.

I think this case has lowered the moral standards of behavior a lot and makes objectification of women more acceptable.  That's just my 2 cents.  An "If it were my daughter" type of feeling, however I do feel like individuals are responsible for what they do and how they live. . . Hard to weigh it all isn't it sometimes????

@beckyb1012 - His mother, his children, his family were all in the courtroom during the trial.  So they saw what the jury and other attendees saw.

And yet they were all smiling, supporting him.  If what they saw didn't give them pause, nothing will.

The man is a sleazebag (and, IMO, I have no doubt he's violent; not only against woman but anyone who crosses him).

It's unusual for a federal prosecutor to lose a case, given that they don't move until they think they have rock-solid evidence.  But once a case is in the hands of a jury, especially for a "celebrity", all bets are off.

I'd love to know who the jurors were who "couldn't be convinced".  I suspect that's why he was only found guilty on the two lesser charges.  Makes me wonder if there was ringer or two.  JMHO.

Unless they were deaf, dumb and blind, they knew what Ditty was about. Ventura's intention was to use him to provide the career she wanted, his was to use her for his perversions. No one with sense gets involved with someone who is far wealthier with more power then they. My sympathy is for children and animals, not adults who make bad decisions.
