To all the non-Seahawks nation members, thank you for your very gracious words. I'm disappointed we're going to play SF next week but it's going to be a really, intense game between two teams that, if not actually disliking each other, have a big rivalry going.

GO HAWKS! THE 12TH MAN RULES!!!!

Things are looking up for Seattle fans. The Mariners had a pretty good run this year too.

Cody, dear, which team where you watching? I appreciate your positive outlook but the M's had a GOD-AWFUL year, with the manager Eric Wedge finally quitting because he had a team he couldn't get any wins out of.

Normally I'd say they're so low they can only go up but there seems to be no limit to how far down they can sink.

May your kind words come true this year {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

Mrs. Lorraine, dear, lets just say they were not as stinking as usual. Better? Nothing wrong with a positive attitude.

A positive attitude is all well and good but you need to have something to hang it on. The Mariners have done so poorly in the last 10 years or so, and there seems to be so much chaos in the management, that I foresee more of the same...unfortunately.

The only thing that could convince me otherwise is an 81-win season.

What will be, will be as far as the Seahawks are concerned. And.....hope springs eternal for the Mariners.

Yes, neither are we, Tansy. We will have great seats front and center in front of the TV, though, won't we? Thanks for the reminder, I'll have to throw our jerseys in the wash too! Isn't the attention (well deserved, IMO) Derrick Coleman is getting cool? He's such a great inspiration!

Starbucks is offering a tall brewed coffee for 12 cents today, Seattlegirl. I believe you need to be wearing the Seahawks' colors though.
