We LOVE Richard Sherman. As for jerkiness -- check out Harbaugh-ha-ha.
I've loved Richard Sherman ever since he told Skip Bayless, "I'm better at life than you." Classic.
Sherman played for Harbaugh at Stanford. Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin, who had a great season and a great game, played on that Stanford team, too. Carroll at USC was Harbaugh's toughest rival back in the PAC-10.

That was the most awkward post-game interview I have ever seen.

Congratulations Seahawks fans! I'm a Broncos fan but grew up watching them play as foes in the same division and always had a crush on Steve Largent.
I was hoping Seattle would win, and I think it will be a great Super Bowl match up! Looking forward to Feb. 2nd ![]()

Concerning Sherman....much ado about nothing!
This is a alpha-male sport....Sherman was just pumped up. I'm sure Crabtree said some serious trash to him, Sherman was still high off his amazing play- thats it. Seattle handles themselves with class, normally. No big deal.

Agreed, boys will be boys. However, Sherman and Crabtree have a disagreement that goes back to last season. I watched an interview this morning, it seems to have started at a charity event where Crabtree was verbally aggressive towards Sherman. It's a feud that will most likely continue. I think Sherman was pumped full of adrenaline and that is what came out in his immediate interview. He later gave a locker room interview where he was very calm, composed and gracious, although he isn't backing down on his opinion of Crabtree. Seems it's something they will have to sort on the field next season.

Second Pre-Season game this year August 17 2013, Broncos came to Seattle and got spanked 40-10.
Should be an excellent Superbowl, congats to both teams.

I apologize for him: he took a moment of compelling victory and turned it into a silly junior high name calling bravado. That was an embarrassing exhibition of rude, mindless ranting. Erin Andrews held her composure, though i think she was dumbfounded. He put me in mind of those WWF wrestling idiots who stand there talking trash about their rivals, beating their chests, and yelling till they are hoarse. Ridiculous. Sherman should be ashamed of himself. It's behavior like this that turns me off of most professional sports. My only comment to him is "GROW UP," but i guess that's too much to ask.

Well played, Seattle!
CONGRATULATIONS

Good Game. I image the team and the coach will be reprimanding Sherman. I'm sure they have rules and penalties for such behavior.
Erin Andrews handled it as well as could be expected. Of course I wouldn't have known her or her name had she not been on DWTS.

"Thank you, Richard Sherman.
"Thank you for not being boring. Thank you for having a small insanity gene. Thank you for being real and entertaining.
"He was WWE-worthy. I expected him to issue some kind of cage-match challenge.
"Except it wasn't fake. It was real and true. I’m here for the fun, and Sherman was fun.
"And hey, overcoming mountains of evidence to the contrary, Sherman proved there’s an actual reason to put Andrews on a sideline.
"What’s more, he was clean. No profanity in that rant. Give him that."
