I'm seeing seafood ads all over the internet.

This is from last weekend!

SCAM II.jpg

If you haven't ordered from that busness before.....DON'T!

It is a clothing company out of Hong Kong running the SCAM.

Hope I get my money back!  Reported to Credit Union as fraud!

must be local to you.....i see that there is a restaurant and market in new jersey that is legitimate. these types of fake ads are all over the internet, fb, and other forms of social media. it is quite prevalent with legitimate online retailers, including QVC. yes, one MUST be careful and never use anything other than paypal or a credit card that has solid buyer protection.

havent seen this particular ad and would not buy anything because we live in the heart of the chesapeake bay.

I never even click on the online ads; it if doesn't have the company's website as the link, it is fraudulent.

The restaurant really exists....but they did not place all the ads and not selling their seafood as those ads says!

They were used in the ad without them know it!  They posted this info when they found out about it.

The ad stated it was a legitimate restaurant in NJ.  It has a business website.  Checked that out.  They do sell seafood....just not this time!

I would never buy seafood online.  I don't even buy seafood from shopping channels

However I do live in MA so I can get all the fresh seafood I want locally.  There are a million fake or misleading ads all over social media.

There are many ads showing up online in which scammers masquerade as legitimate companies. There are ads on FB that pretend to be QVC. There was a post about it here last month. It's a good thing that posters here try to tip us off.
