Hate Scrabble - I need action.  With Scrabble you have to sit and listen to the

clock on the wall Tick....while you're opponent holds chin in hand and (quietly) thinks and thinks & thinks.

I'd rather go clean the bathroom!

@fthunt Good!  I buy quickly, build and then take all your money!  It won't last long!    LOL!!!

I'm like you about Scrabble though.  Just put some letters down and get on with it!  My husband thinks and thinks trying to make a big word or something unusual.  I have no shame and throw down some letters for high points.  And I win.

But he looks smarter.

Scrabble is fun. I like Mexican Train which is a domino game. Have tried to enjoy Monopoly, but it bores me. Perhaps that's because we never had enough people in the family to get a really good game going.

Backgammon!  DH taught me how to play @40 years ago and I've been hooked ever since!

I like word games, but I never cared for Scrabble. Don't know why.  I have two shelving units in the basement full of board games, and one game we can always agree on is Ticket to Ride. It's a simple game kids could play, but everyone likes it.

I love Scrabble.  Have you read Word Freak by Stephen Fatsis?  It's about competitive Scrabble players and is very interesting.  I highly recommend it for Scrabble lovers.

Yes, me and my friends LOVE to play Mexican Train Dominoes......

Love Scrabble. We also play an older game called Spill and Spell. Uno is another favorite.

Some of my friends take WAY TOO LONG with Scrabble....we tell them we've could have read the entire novel of "War And Peace" with what it took them to put down their word.....😄😄😄 But I do enjoy playing it online with robot opponents! 

My FAVORITES are: Domionoes (Mexican Train), Scattegories, and Trivial Pursuit.
