It's creepy to think anyone would call him a rosy cheek cutie

I think it is horrible that this keeps getting dredged up and the poor family of the lovely woman and child he murdered have to keep seeing his face and going through this! Can they not be given any peace at all! He does not deserve to be heard or seen any longer.

Except that he was, and the memory I can never erase is the one of that lovely young woman looking with starry eyes up to him, in a photo taken just before she and her baby died.
Sociopaths and psychopaths can be cute as the Dickens. It can be one of the tools....

How about if it was Hitler?

I'm with you. Life in prison seems to be much worse than taking the easy way out by dying.

I certainly understand that sociopaths and psychopaths can be cute as the Dickens but I can't ever remember thinking anyone being cute after knowing the crimes they are accused of it just prevents me from thinking of people that way.

Would you support the death penalty if this happened to your daughter @Goldengate8361 ?

I don't think life without parole is a worse sentence than death. People make a life for themselves wherever they may be, prison or elsewhere.

People acclimate to prison. Life without parole is definitely easier than the death penalty.
The real problem is the decades they live before being put to death and all the appeals they are "entitled" to.
