Thanks to the judge for saving everyone the cost, headache and heartache of a new trial. 

If you remember, he was among the California prisoners that applied for COVID funds while he was incarcerated. What a piece of scum. He always has such a smirk on his face. May Laci and Conner rest in peace and may their family be spared anymore torture from this monster.

I had him confused with that other Peterson -- Drew, who is also serving what is essentially a life sentence for the murder of his third wife ... earliest release date is 2081.

It is easy to confuse all of those Peterson murderers.

Michael Peterson, pushed his wife down the stairs and killed her

Scott Peterson, killed his wife and unborn son

Drew Peterson, killed his third wife

It doesn't matter.  It was just a last ditch legal maneuver.  A new trial would not have resulted in a different verdict.
