Scott Grimes Post About MaryBeth

Scott attended an event for MaryBeth Roe and here is some of what he posted on his Facebook page: :

MaryBeth had gathered close to 300 of her friends and family from her over 30++ years at QVC and put together a night to thank everyone for all the love and support they have shown her at QVC. This celebration was so thoughtful from video messages, to her husband Mark’s speech, to her children and grands and then one by one she thanked the various teams at QVC as she shared the most incredible memories along the way. MaryBeth’s life has always been anchored in her Faith and last night was no different …. I arrived last night thinking I knew her pretty well and left inspired with the notion that I have so much more to learn about my friend MaryBeth. She will be missed but I am so happy and proud of who she is and so lucky to call her my friend.

Hosts have been posting lots of pictures on Facebook of the party.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Scott made me teary eyed when he was on Mary Beth’s very last jewelry show last week.

He told her how he remembered being was so nervous to tell her about himself and his children. And how Mary Beth made him feel so at ease and loved him just the same. 💕

To:  Mary Beth.

I want to wish you the utmost in happiness in your retirement.  You've done a wonderful service to QVC, QVC Americans, including me.

I feel like a QVC Shopper who virtually grew up with you, and I'm incredibly grateful for that honor!

You've been a sterling example of a compassionate, giving, generous human being, with an apparent, Book adherance, Christian, and an incredible example of a 'Woman for All Ages!'

I continue to wish you a life filled with abundant joy, happiness, love, good health, & contentment.  Heaven knows, as well as I do, you deserve, & have earned this. Take good care...

From this  QVC Mary Beth Admirer -

             Congratulations, Mary Beth!

@gidgetgh Yes, I happened to see Dan Wheeler's post.

What a nice celebration for her to throw. (or maybe QVC threw it, I'm not actually sure.) Anyway, she's going out, as she's always been on Q...with grace and class. Very few people I've ever seen so beloved from a working environment. She's earned it. She will be missed, but it's a great time for her to enjoy other aspects of her life. We're not here forever.

Re: Scott Grimes Post About MaryBeth

Thanks for sharing this; I'm not on Facebook, so I appreciate getting to see this lovely message. It sounds like a beautiful night for Mary Beth, which she so deserves. I have noticed when I catch her shows lately that she and the guests sometimes get a little teary and I can so relate. I retired a couple of years ago from 34 years of teaching, all in the same school, so I kind of know how she feels. You're ready, but it's a weird feeling, too, to leave a place and people that have been such a long-standing part of your life.
