So sad to hear this. I loved his comics. He was so funny and creative.  May he RIP, gone way too soon.  Age 68 from metastatic prostate cancer.

In one strip, the title character is awarded a promotion “with no extra pay, just more responsibility,” because “it’s how we recognize our best people.” In another, he’s presented with an “employee location device” — a dog collar.

Mr. Adams pinned a letter on 1/1/26 to be read after his passing.  I just read it on People magazine.  I do remember the comic strip but I was never a follower, rest well.

Wry, subtle humor and satire with which anyone who's occupied a "cubicle" could intensely relate.

While very, very frail, he was cheerful and engaged to the end, despite the ravages of a particularly fierce cancer that had him in and out of the hospital, sometimes with paralysis, and finally in hospice. 

Dr. Drew Pinsky, who was a friend, traded quips with him on youtube just a few days ago.  Scott Adams died with uncommon grace.  God speed.
