Hubbo and I were sitting at a Mall food court eating a piece of pizza and in pulls 2 busloads of kids to the food court. We asked somebody what was that about. They said field trip to the Mall.  Bet that can get expensive for mommy and daddy.

We ate and moved on.

No schools around here are off Friday. Only Monday.

That was no kid on the boards around Christmas. There is a lot of history on this board and the shop talk one before. Even my adult family has no idea what QVC is.

I think so too @LyndaGee

Usually the same people are targeted and there is an air of familiarity.

End of June in my area.  I don't think kids come here to post.  If they do, they don't come in droves.......

It's the adults on these forums many have problems with.

I don't think kids have been in the forums either. They have too many other sites that are geared towards them. But, someone immature though!

In my area, school ended yesterday. Most graduations are this week.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

So, now the Monday holiday is a Friday AND Monday holiday?

These keep getting longer and longer.  Maybe they should go back to not having all these extra holiday days and go back to teaching grammar and spelling.

Ok, sorry.  That's my rant du jour.  Smiley Very Happy

I read it as kids getting out of school for the summer.

I am confused why someone would have to stock up on supplies  and stay home because kids are out of school. It would never cross my mind to "hide" from kids as if it was a hurricane or something.

The troll at Xmas was SO not a kid. It reminded me of a troll who used to live here a few years ago.

Re: Schools out Fri.

Wasn't "hiding from the kids", hun, I was referring to the traffic, crowds, in stores, etc.

"hide" was your quote by the way. My original post said nothing about hiding
