School starts tomorrow in my town. Even though it has been forever since I or my family has been in school, I feel like I need a notebook. LOL Every September. 📓

@QVCkitty1 - Even though our children are out of college now, everything I'm involved in starts again in September. I have meetings almost every night and I have to plan some day and night meetings. Annual reports are due shortly.

Can I go back to summer now? LOL!

School always starts here in NY after Labor Day. This year is actually a day later than usual.

I always feel like I need to go clothes shopping. Such fond memories of getting my new school outfits.

@Porcelain I still remember what I bought the first year I was allowed to go school clothes shopping myself with my friend. It was a white dress with purple dots. Don't remember how old I was but that was a big deal.

Once a year I was taken to the local stationary store for school supplies. I loved that store, no other store smelled like it. It's gone now and book stores are disappearing too. Remember millner stores that just sold hats?

Do remember buying new school supplies each year that we needed. !st we'd take inventory of what was left over from the previous school yr. New shoes for school .

I was so happy when a protractor and compass were on the list of my 9th grade school supplies that I needed . I was intrigued with why and how to use these math tools for Geometry . I quickly found out that one had to memorize the 7 Theorums and 5 Postulates .
