Is the shooter another student or is this an outsider that came on campus. So far I've not heard, but I just got home and turned on the TV.

The shooting took place at Marjorie Stoneman High School.  Latest figures I've heard is 20 to 50 injured but no statement on cause of injuries or severity.

@RainCityWoman  Hi:  Another student.  In fact he had been in a class prior to the shooting. 

The news had to go and interview another student about "what this person is like" without mentioning names. 

Until this person is caught and more info is obtained, I don't like interviewing other students to assess what this person is like in person.

My two oldest grandchildren went to high school in central Florida. I thank God that they are not at the school in south Florida. It is horrendous that these events have become part of our culture. Guns cannot solve any problems yet some believe they can correct perceived wrongs with arms. It is so horrible. We need to address this hideous violence.

Almost every week there is a shooting of either police officers or at a school.  It is becoming so common that you never even hear what happened after the fact.

I also notice they don't tell the person's name or show there picture anymore as to eliminate them getting any publicity.

This is really a sad time for this country.
