Rules are rules! If there was a dress code in place then all students were obliged to stick to it - hot weather or not. We wore uniforms in HS (and grade school too) and our schools were not air conditioned. We wore a jumper with a long sleeve blouse under it. No exceptions - ever! Look when these kids graduate and go out into the working world they will have to adhere to whatever rules their employer puts into place. They might as well start learning that now.

I don't mind some standards for clothing, but I think a lot of these dress codes are sexist, or at least the way they are enforced.

No problem with it.

Everyone has to follow rules; that's what keeps us from turning into a ""Purge"" movie.
