Toni looks adorable. Love the ABC dress.  Cute as a button.  Voted best dressed!  Stunning outfits.  I'm glad she loves art, reading and art were my favorite subjects as well.  Thanks, @Enufstuff   Another stunning winner.

Love all of it, as usual, @Enufstuff !   My favorite being that pink, cocoa brown, and mint green number!   Always love brown and pink-- and it is indeed delightfully retro.  But looks so fresh and appealing today too.  You are such an archivist, among other things, bringing vintage fabrics to the fore...

@On It  Thank you very much.

When I was  six years old, I got two Toni Dolls for

Christmas and in more recent years, I have collected more. Now I have 15 Toni's to model the collection of dresses.

I like to dress the dolls in the 1950's styles that would have been in vogue at that time. Toni was a stylish girl,

back then. The famous designer, Oleg Cassini was one

of the designers who designed the dresses for Ideal Toni Dolls.

When styling the dolls' hair, I like to recreate the 50's hair styles that little girls wore.

Fabrics and trims that I find, inspire the creation of

each dress.

@on the bay   I'm glad that you enjoy seeing Toni and the stories.

I remember wearing those ankle socks too, mostly white, but I think that sometimes I had pastel colors too.

Thank you for making these daarling outfits and for posting them.  You gave me my first smile today--I had been watching the 9-11 programs.  I was a school child durint the 50's and I remember how many llittle girls wore new plaid dresses on the first day of school.

@haddon9   Thank you very much.  The little blonde girl is her

                  new best friend at school.

Actually, I have fifteen Toni Dolls and I want

to give all the girls a chance to model a dress.

Re: School Days for Toni

[ Edited ]

@Tori3569   I love that the ABC apple print dress reminded     you of the apple print dress that your mother made.

Ric rac was very popular on clothing back then,

                on dresses and on aprons.

Your jumper with apples on the front patch pockets

                 must have been so cute.

How lovely that your mother made those two

                  special outfits for you.

@SportyShorty07    Thank you so much for the A+ and for

taking notice of all the details of Toni's

dresses. I appreciate your input as an artist

and your knowledge of color coordination.

I'm sure that you must put together some

                           beautiful outfits for yourself.
