Each time you click on the photo it fades from then to now...

if you keep clicking back and forth, you can see the remaining buildings are virtually unchanged. Truly amazing

Thank you for this link it really brings back memories of some of the newsreels I used to see in the theaters during the war.

I sent this to everyone on my e-mail address list. There are some of them that are old enough to remember it when it was happening. The younger ones I think it is a good reminder of what was done to give them the life we now all are able to live.
