@lovescats, no I no longer post very often, however, I do read most days. I find I no longer post unless I have something to say, I have been on these boards since mid to late 90's. I am familiar with most posters from the "days of yore" when these boards were really something.

The posters previously mentioned by me are probably not remembered by most here. But they are remembered by some. A few I forgot to mention yesterday - Sunala, of course who started the Shabbat Shalom thread, baddogs(!!!), Bairn. Was it Bairn who started the pot banging on New Years Eve? Oh, and Momoffour, such a heartbreaking story! And there are so many, many more!

I should also mention thay my feelings are not hurt, but I do think it very possible that others who perhaps contribute weekly or daily may feel they have been forgotten. Just my opinion. I apologize if some feel I should have started my own thread. I didn't like it and I voiced my displeasure. It will probably be some time before I will have something to say once again, but I shall be reading most every day. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

@katiemichelle , I, too have been here since the early 90's and I remember those posters that you named. I began posting after my dear father passed in 1999 who so wished he could see the year 2000 arrive. By posting and reading here, it helped me take my mind off of that dark time. I also recall the days of "shop talk" and "anything goes". Some of the posters I also remember are Bobby, Lessnans, Catnip, Aunt Bertie, JodyNC and more than I cannot recall now. I believe it was "Bairn" who started the pot banging thread on New Year's Eve if memory serves.

I don't post that much either, other than in the TV forum or if I need some advice about beauty or wellness.

I do think; however, that the OP meant for this to be a positive thread.

Hope you decide to post more often. I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.

Hi @HisElk1 , thank you so much! I could not remember Bobby's name for the life of me! She could be quite contrary, couldn't she? So many, many posters to remember! I remember Cardinal Girl and her always beautiful Christmas decorations. I remember Victoria Girl, whose personality changed after dark, Claudiaanne and her St. Bernard Senor and her kitties, Violeteyes and on and on. Even more recent posters who have just disappeared! Shorty2u being one I can think of.
