Did anyone watch last night? On the episode they featured an elementary school principal who had 6 month old quadruples and a 24 year old battling cervical cancer.
I have to say the mother looked amazing for having quads so recently.
As for the young lady, when she said she had cervical cancer and was having 5 rounds of chemo, I remember thinking, the 2 ladies I knew who had cervical cancer, did not do well. The beautiful, bride-to-be seemed upbeat, so what did I know? Well if you saw the show, you know, after we saw parts of her wedding, we learned she succumbed to her disease.
For whatever reason, this upset me terribly and I could not sleep. I googled her and learned, she was diagnosed on 12/5/11, the SYTD was filmed 2/12, the wedding was 8/8/12 and she died 9/21/12.
She kept a blog throughout her battle and her mother recently posted a final entry.
If you are interested, you will find her name easily, either from SYTD or by googling the bride from SYTD who died. (I do not think it's appropriate that I post her name)
What a courageous young lady.
