I started using InstaCart when we went into COVID lockdown in March 2020. We began working remotely immediately, are now back in the office 3 days per week, working remotely the other 2. When would I shop? I live on top of a giant hill/mountain, at least 20 minutes and lots of gas away from the closest store. I have reduced mobility due to sciatica/arthritis in my hip, am elderly, have two cats who use a LOT of cat litter, have to drink a lot of water due to recurrent kidney stones (think spring water by the case) and have a steep set of concrete stairs to my condo door on the bottom floor. Grocery delivery has been a godsend! I will occasionally pick up lightweight items at a store after work or on the weekend (ugh), but between InstaCart and Amazon my life is SO much better than it could be. I won’t be in this condo forever, so am glad I can afford delivery.
