8:30 this morn and turned on the Q while eating breakfast.

I made scrambled eggs with almond milk and fresh parsley ( makes the eggs fluffy.

I peel a Sunquist orange and sliced it, along with toasted sourdough bread.

The first on the screen with David is a hunk of meat frying in grease, followed by the vendor putting a chunk of butter in a shrimp boil, then another vendor next showing shaved ice with heavy syrup on top with crushed Oreos.

Self said " if FIFTY AND FABULOUS is the theme, by time you arrive it won't be so fabulous"... Fat, cholesterol and a sugar issue ...

Better the whole orange than the syrup.  and YET.... I LOVE Snow Cones!  Just go light on the syrup.  My Summer just wasn't complete If I didn't get a Snow Cone some where some time.

I Love  Cotton Candy/Candy Floss  too.  These days if I'm Gonna waste the calories I go for the  Cotton Candy.  one ounce of the stuff has only about 110 calories. It's all just flavoured sugar and food colouring and a whole lot of AIR.

I believe people can chose what and how they want to eat.  Just because its on TV does not mean you have to eat it.
