We are looking to change our satellite TV but are not able to find any to fit our needs. We can not get cable out here. Any ideas?

What specifically are you looking for in satellite TV?  There are really only two major providers--Dish and Direct.  You may be able to find small or upstart providers but that will require an internet search based on your location.

Thank you Marp. We are way out in the boonies. Talked to Dish yesterday and were disappointed in what they offered. We also have an antenna but it doesn't serve our needs. We only watch about 5 channels.

Try DISH. We have had service with them for almost 20 yrs. & have been happy with the service. Have not had but a couple of issues during that time.

We always had problems with the cable company.

I compared pricing & programming packages to see which package would work best for us. DISH had the lower price for the channels we wanted.

So call DirecTV, both are pretty much the same (Dish & DirecTv) and unless you have screaming internet service, that's your choices.

We live in the boonies of West Virginia and have had DirecTV programming for nearly 20 years without any issues.   I have no qualms whatsoever about recommending this company.

We also live in the boonies and can’t get cable. We have DirecTV and it suits our needs. Really, you only have two choices, DirecTV and Dish, so you’d have to go with one of them, whether either is ideal or not. Those with (literally) almost no choice have to deal with what’s available, period, or go without.

I used to see ads for HughesNet which is for people living in the boonies.
