There are still only 24 hours in the day and there is still the same amount of daylight within those 24 hours.

Of course, I realize that.  However, I work until 5 pm.  I like to get out for a walk/run when I get home, and this will give me more time to do that in the daylight.

At the expense of someone who may be finally getting some daylight for their morning walk/run.  You are getting more daylight everyday, just as the morning runner has been.  Guess you are more important, who cares about anyone else as long as you get what you want.

i@CrazyDaisy   You are talking silly.  We as individuals have no control over DST.  Many people enjoy it, some do not.

Try to make the best of it and stop acting so grouchy. Why so touchy and mean to a poster who enjoys DST?  I guess you are justified because you aren't getting what you want, huh?

@CrazyDaisy   Only at the equator where daylight is a constant 12 hours.

The discussion pertains to the change of the clock.  The number of daylight  hours on any given day at any given place on earth is not dependent on the time people choose on a clock.

Got it, so if someone is about happy about something everyone else must also enjoy it.

@CrazyDaisy  No, you don't " got it."

If someone is happy about something, it doesn't mean you have to be happy about it too.  It's okay to feel differently.

But, there is no need to be rude with sour grapes personal comments to a happy poster accusing her of thinking she is more important who doesn't care about anyone else as long as she gets what she wants.

Got it now?

I bought a 2012 Honda Civic in 2015 --- my first car with lots of electronics. I still don't know how to set the clock. Now - it will be correct. I'm glad there are other people like me!!!

Me too. I've had my Honda CRV for three years. In spite of studying the manual, I still haven't figured out how to reset the clock. It's correct right now for a few more hours until we have to spring forward.
