So beautiful! I love the white blanket of snow on the 'red' rock...such a lovely contrast. It reminds me of Utah's red rock in Bryce Canyon & surrounding areas when powdered with fresh glistening snow. Thank you @Kachina624.

@Kachina624

Beautiful!  We had snowfall too, pic of the freeway with the foothills.

The red burning bush is still going strong in my yard, you can see the dusting of snow but quite a bit on the roof.

Santa Fe is one place I've always wanted to visit.  Still haven't made it there yet.  I'm terrified I would come home with way too much jewelry!Woman Very Happy

I didn't realize that Santa Fe got snow.  I figured in the mountains, guess I should do some reading.

Two words: HIGH desert.

Many of my psych patients hop on a Greyhound and are shocked when they discover Albuquerque is not Phoenix.

We have four distinct seasons in New Mexico and, yes, we have snow.  And ski resorts.  Even in the Southeastern part of the state in lovely Ruidoso.

The making of instant Ruidoso icon "Christmas at Midtown"

And, as a poor state, we depend on the kindness of strangers (tourists). Heart

Come visit! Woman LOL

@Kachina624 , so pretty!  I am running around getting the yard ready for winter.  The leaves are always a big job.  Of course, the large oaks hold onto them forever and just laugh at me.  Winter tires go on next week!

@Kachina624  What a pretty first snowfall photo.  Start of the Season.

My first thoughts were  How PRETTY.

Then, being from New England My immediate second thought was... What's the Temperature gonna be  today?

Will it melt or do I have to shovel?

So glad you got some rain.  We really need some over this way.
