Re: Santa Fe Indian Market

[ Edited ]

I would love to go to that!  I can certainly do quite a bit of damage to my CC if I did. Smiley Happy

I've never been to New Mexico but about 15 years ago I was in Arizona driving with DH along a highway.  We stopped at a rest stop and Native Americans were selling jewelry.

I picked up a handmade bracelet and heart pin with a turquoise stone that I like to wear on a denim jacket.

I would love to see more of the southwest and New Mexico is on my bucket list!

@Kachina624

I've never been there, but it looks amazing!

A couple friends and I used to love going to all kinds of artisan and craft markets in our area. Unfortunately, one friend is no longer able due to mobility issues, and the other moved away. My sister or my husband will go with me, but I just don't go as much anymore. Of course, I could go by myself, but it's more fun with another person.

Have a Great Week!

@just bee. You should tell the audience that you interesting photos are of the Bisti Badlands and not any urban area.

Do you suppose the Tent Rocks Natl Monument will ever re-open?

@Kachina624 My stepdaughter and her family live over in Rio Rancho. We visited with them there a lot. Over the years we grew to love Santa Fe and New Mexico in general. Been to Indian Market a few times. Such beautiful art in so many mediums there. Have some lovely pots that we cherish. You live in such a gorgeous area!

I looked into visiting Indian Market. It was either last year or the year prior. But the air tickets to Santa Fe were just crazy, crazy expensive for that week. Ah well. Maybe some time. I really don't need more jewelry. Woman Tongue

Thank you for the pics @Kachina624 !

I lost interest in Tent Rocks years ago when they banned canine visitors.
