WOW! I wonder if she is also leaving her estate in New Orleans? I doubt it, because one of her children is from there and she does a lot for the city. But who knows?

 

I'll bet that house was professionally staged AFTER Sandra got all of her personal items out. Smiley Happy

we were in new orleans early last year. we did a walking tour of the garden district and had the chance to see her home there, along with several other celebrity homes. the guide said that no one has been there for a few years now except for maintenance people.

I love that it has such homey style. Looks welcoming and it's not over the top. Maybe it was staged to look that way, who knows.

 

Savannah is so beautiful. Way too hot and humid for me though-when I was there it was early April and it was already so oppressive.

@sunshine45  and @Greeneyedlady21 - I have a connection to NOLA, and I grew up outside of Savannah. You'd think I might have run into Sandra sometime, right? LOL! Smiley Wink

I live one island over from the island Sandra's house is on (Tybee Island) and would see her walking her dogs on the beach quite often.

 

John Mellencamp also had a home near hers, but he moved to a different island.

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
