Many stupid people feed deer.  In most areas, this is illegal, but they still do it.

I have a neighbor who does this.  His wife picks up damaged apples and other fruit and veggies from a farm market for no cost and they dump the food on the edge of a lot used for water run off.

They also put out meat.  One of my dogs picked up a cooked pork chop.  I took it from her.  I thought maybe someone was poisoning animals and when I mentioned it them to them, they said the always put food out when they cleaned out their fridge and they were sure a fox or stray cat would eat the meat.

Just what we need in our neighborhood.

some idiots in NC apparently pulled several bear cubs out of a tree!! I saw the video on the news and thought what the heck is the matter with people?  Just leave them alone. They'd have had a nasty surprise if mama bear had come back beside the fact that they could have injured the cubs.

@GinaV24   I too saw that Video and what people don't realize like these morons (would use another word if not here ). The mother bear will completely have nothing to do with these poor cubs,    they now have human scent on them....very sad 😔.  These idiots have to get that selfie pic to show there friends !   They should be brought up on charges !!! Makes me so mad 😠

which they would have deserved !   I know that sounds harsh ,  but come on how stupid and ignorant can one be !  These poor cubs will probably die now !

@On It I think I heard those cruel selfish morons who pulled the cubs out of the tree got no punishment. That really ticks me off.  One of those cubs was injured and is still in care. The other one probably ran off and died.  To be honest, sometimes I just hate people. Some people don't deserve the wonderful  previledge of seeing wildlife.
