Re: Sad Story Re: Local Radio Personality

If he actually harms someone, can the station be held partially responsible because they knew of his problems?

I would quit listening to that station. The less listeners they have, the more chance of him going off the air.

That station is highly irresponsible.

I don't think she's listening for the fun of it.

Terrier is a professional in that field and is, and needs to be, well informed on the issue.

I would imagine so.

I think he is a greater threat to himself though.

The station is run by Entercom....one of the largest radio syndicates in the country.

Radio listening is measured thru diaries. I would never get a diary, since I work in the industry.

I listen because I used to work there...I know him, his boss, a lot of people there.

Actually that's not why she said she listens. Wink

Actually Noel is correct. I consult businesses on where to spend their ad dollars and listen and watch a little bit of everything.

I listen to him off and on because I know him and find what is happening at WBEN to be appalling. He is disintegrating on air...and his fans love it...they are as paranoid as he is.

His employer doesn't seem to care about him as a person...just a moneymaker.
