Thanks for letting me know about the Premiere Protein Shakes.  I've actually never tried a protein shake before.  I had no idea what brands to try lol.😃❤️

I really do appreciate your kindness and concern.  It means a lot to know I've got friends here.❤️

Yeah, the thought of eating pureed meat or baby food meat is  Uck to me. These days for savory protein options include beef and chicken bone broth ( and use to fortify soups with extra protein), cottage cheese, plain greek yogurt with everything bagel seasoning, cream corn. Makes me wonder if chili with ground beef would be soft enough in time. You can eat orzo i would imagine for filling up as well as mac n cheese.

Yes, the Premiere Protein Shakes @spumoni99 @ recommended are really great. Ice cream, pudding and purees of your beautiful homegrown peaches and other fruits you have harvested!

@riley1

Thanks for the tip about getting the chocolate protein shakes very cold beforehand.  I'm doing that with my sugar free water mixes too.  Of course, I always prefer things icy.  Right now though, putting them in the freezer until they're good and icy helps with the pain a bit too.

Thank you so much for your concern and letting me know about this.  It really means a lot.😃❤️

A burger  should be an easy thing to eat, I remember having one soon after my implant surgery

Re: 🦷 SURGERY UPDATE 🦷

@cheriere.  I'm so glad you're doing okay if not well.  I wouldn't go through that for all the tea in China.  My denture works just fine and didn't cost an arm and a leg.

I have a Premier Protein drink everyday for extra protein.  You could probably eat meatloaf as it's soft, and egg dishes.  Dice up some firm tofu and add to soups.  You don't taste it and it's high in protein.  Add protein powder to fruit smoothies....you must have a ton of fruit.

Keep in touch and take good care of yourself.

@cheriere - I forgot to add, once you get the shake really cold, add it to a blender with a half banana and whip together.

It's also good with raspberries or strawberries, blueberries. But I don't know if the seeds from the fruits would bother you.

Re: 🦷 SURGERY UPDATE 🦷

I was wondering if you were okay. I am happy everything went well. Here are a few suggestions for soft food:

  • Soups: Warm and soothing, but avoid very hot temperatures.
  • Mashed potatoes: Creamy and comforting.
  • Oatmeal: Hearty and filling.
  • Smoothies: Nutrient-rich and easy to drink.
  • Yogurt: Soft and creamy.
  • Scrambled eggs: High in protein and easy to chew.
  • Applesauce: Smooth and gentle on the mouth.
  • Bananas: Soft and easy to eat.
  • Avocado: Creamy and nutritious.
    • Pudding and Jello: Soft and sweet treats.
    • Ice cream: A cool, soothing option

You are gonna be JUST FINE!   I have a whole mouth full of individual implants.   Take my  word for it:    The WORST part is the                       $ P R I C E $

You're RIGHT about that lol.  Had they told me they'd do them for free if only I'd foregoing anesthesia, I'd have Happily Agreed lol!😂

I can't imagine paying for each individually though.  Goodness!  I hated to lose the teeth that were currently in good shape, but they told me in a few years that may not be the case.  Still though, this route costs a fortune (to me) too.  I wish I could've afforded to have had the lower implants at the same time.

I'm just happy these temps do not come out either.😃

Thank you for your words of encouragement.  It means a lot to me.😃❤️
