Re: 🦷 SURGERY UPDATE 🦷

Hi!! @cheriere 🌸💕🌸💕

I’m just reading your post on your dental surgery. In another forum (Q chat I think) you mentioned you were having surgery.

I’m glad your surgery went well and you are home recovering. 🤗

You mentioned needing protein. I recommend Ripple protein shakes. I get them from Amazon. They are non dairy and delicious with 20 grams of protein per bottle.

Also bone broth is an Excellent source of protein!

Maybe these were mentioned to you here by other posters already. I didn’t read everyone’s posts if they did.

Take Good Care!! I’ll be thinking of YOU!!! 🌸💕🌸💕

I really am, thank you.😃❤️

I have a long drs appointment out of town this Friday.  I've really been trying to rest up and get myself ready for it lol.  I know it's not gonna be easy, but I decided we can always get a room if it's too hard to make in a day, but it shouldn't be.

Thanks for the caring sentiment.  I really appreciate you.❤️

That's so kind of you to say and think of me.  Thanks, I truly appreciate you.😃❤️❤️

Also, this is the first mention I'm hearing about the ripple protein shakes as well.  I'm grateful for your suggestions.❤️

Thank you.😃❤️

Your sweet well wishes really mean a lot to me.❤️

Ive been in mashed potatoes and milkshake heaven for awhile now lol.  You've got a point about adding salt/seasoning to baby food meat.  I think that's why they always say a baby won't want their own food after eating from the table lol.  It's all the delicious seasonings.  That would be a good option though.  I remember how bland baby food meat always used to taste lol.  I'm sure a bit of salt and pepper would do wonders for it though.😃❤️❤️

Re: 🦷 SURGERY UPDATE 🦷

Hello!! @cheriere 🌸💕

I’ve been drinking Ripple milk and Ripple Protein Shakes for almost 2 yrs now. Had to go on a dairy free diet per the GI Dr because of an extreme case of acid reflux. Totally gone and no meds needed.

The Ripple Milk I get from Target. You can do their drive up/pick up service for free and it’s such a convenient way to get anything you need.

The Ripple Protein Shakes (which are Delicious!!) I’m on Auto delivery through Amazon. You get a discount if you go on Auto Delivery.

Good Luck with your appt on Friday. Sounds like a long day so good idea to rest up. 🤗

PS The nice thing about Protein shakes is they’re convenient to take with you in the car, they fill you like a meal would, give you energy with the 20 grams of protein so that’s about a 1/3 of the grams you need daily!

I’ll be thinking of YOU!! 💕💕💕

@RescueLover

I really do appreciate your letting me know about the Ripple Protein Shakes.😃❤️

While I'm technically not on a dairy free diet, I haven't drank regular milk in a few years.  I've found that it's really helped with a lot of my stomach issues like bloating, gas and some other terrible consequences lol.

I am eating a lot of ice cream and I'm already having a little bit of trouble.  When I'm home, I can deal with it.  However, being on the road tomorrow really makes me nervous.  I'll not be eating any today.  I'm gonna try to stick with broth and tomato soup.

It's really nice of you to share this important info with me.  Your kindness really means a lot.  Thanks again.❤️❤️❤️

@cheriere  I thought of some more soft foods that you can eat that are high in protein: chicken or beef tamales! Ooh and a retro, but delicious classic could be Underwood canned chicken spread Smiley Happy.  You're doing a great job resting, recovering, and keeping your spirits up! Smiley Very HappyHeart

Aww, thanks for the encouragement.❤️. I'm trying to do my best.  I never thought I'd get sick of milkshakes so quickly either lol.

I did buy some Chef Boyardee ABC's & 1,2,3's and some more spaghetti o's.  I can basically just swallow those so they're okay.  I do love the underwood chicken and tamales!  The canned kind are really soft too!  Great idea!  Thanks so much for thinking of me.😃❤️❤️

@cheriere  Absolutely! You'll love that Chef Boyardee becuase It is super easy to eat, its delicious and it fills you up.  Underwood canned chicken spread is great on saltines. The Hormel canned beef or chicken talmales are delicious! Milkshakes are so good- I like to add malt powder to mine.  You're doing a great job adjusting to this dental recovery food diet! Go Cheriere! Smiley Very HappyHeart

Ooh Beefaroni and spaghetti o's sound delicious right now!  I haven't ate those in a long time either.

I am resting a lot.  This one medicine she prescribed makes me really sleepy, thank goodness!  It's kinda strange though.  I'll be watching QVC or a movie perfectly awake, then the next thing I know it's morning lol.😃❤️❤️

@cheriere  You'll love the Beefaroni and Spaghetti o's Smiley Very Happy.  I'm so flad that your medicine is allowing you to sleep and recover from this surgery. That must be funny and confusing to watch one QVC TSV and then wake up to another Smiley Very HappySmiley Wink. I'm really proud of you for going through with this surgery and keeping your spirits up during your recovery! Go Cheriere! Smiley Very HappyHeart
