Re: 🦷 SURGERY UPDATE 🦷

Glad for your sake that the it's over and thanks for checking in.

Just wanted to put in a good word for chopped liver, maybe on a soft roll?

@ciao_bella

That's very good advice, thank you.😃❤️

I've been trying to keep that in mind at the end of each day.  I'd hoped to feel up to posting before today, but I'm just thankful to finally be able to.❤️

That's a good idea about googling recipes for blending too.  Thanks for that suggestion.❤️

@LizzieInSRQ

I didn't even think about Bone Broth!  I'm so glad you mentioned that, thank you!😃❤️

We must have the same taste lol because I was thinking the same thing about spaghetti and chili or any ground beef that's crushed fine enough.  I can't eat bread...I've already tried a little bite, but tender pasta noodles might work.

I got some Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, pudding and stuff like that beforehand.  Naturally, I could eat a side of beef if only I could lol.😃

I really appreciate your concern and suggestions.  Thank you so very much.❤️

A burger  should be an easy thing to eat, I remember having one soon after my implant surgery

I'd LOVE ❤️ to be able to eat a cheeseburger right now, but there's no way lol.  Hopefully, in a few months I might be able to if I eat super carefully.

I had all my upper teeth and several posts implanted.  Right now, I have temporary implants permanently fixed in, but I'm not supposed to use them for chewing unless it's soft food.

@Kachina624

Thank you so much for the kind words.😃❤️

I've missed you guys.😃

I do know what you mean about the cost.  Heck, that's why I only did the top first.  I hope I can afford to do the bottom sooner than later.  I'm just missing three back teeth on each side on bottom.  I'm not sure what will end up happening.  I've heard a lot if people, including my best friend, say exactly what you did.  She's going the denture route too.  Some other friends did and love theirs.😃❤️

@cheriere - I forgot to add, once you get the shake really cold, add it to a blender with a half banana and whip together.

It's also good with raspberries or strawberries, blueberries. But I don't know if the seeds from the fruits would bother you.

I wondered the same thing about seeds too lol.  I've got plenty of different berries in the freezer from this summer.

I might call her office Monday and ask about that.  Thanks for the reminder.  The banana is great idea too.  I might freeze it first for texture.😃❤️

Can I recommend ORGAIN protien powder or drinks. The one that is plant based?  Ensure is so full of sugar and fats.  It really isn't that nutritious or at least that's what the nutritionist said at the hospital.  There is an ORGAIN with whey and milk product, but the chocolate plant based one tastes better to me,  and is better on my stomach. We get it at Costco, but Amazon and vitamin places carries it. It is so high in good protien and totally organic with no chemicals. I was on liquid for a few weeks, first clear liquid then liquid.  After clear liquids the ORGAIN shake was like heaven.  It tastes really good too. I was vitamin deficient and had issues, and this brand really fortified me.   My husband drinks it everyday, he blends banana and berries in it.  I like it straight up

Fet well soon, and congrats on a good surgery.  That is the best feeling, to have it over and everything to have run smooth
