The fact is that they sorely need to offer fee shipping in a way that makes sense, which is not this 'event' based nonsense. Of course they're going to incur ill will when people order paying shipping only to see them offering free shipping a few days later... If they'd simply offer a shipping break over a certain dollar amount, a set daily rate for everything (within reason) ordered or find some other mechanism under customer control they'd be a lot better off...  I so rarely order any more, for so many reasons, but yes, it is annoying when I order only to see free shipping as an option later... They also need to start shipping all supposed 'specials' without cost to the customer... Finally, their practice of rather glaringly increasing prices when they do offer a free shipping 'event' needs to end. They aren't fooling anybody... As for moving on if QVC's practices aren't to my liking, I pretty much have. It would appear based on recent rather dreadful financial reports that others have as well. I'm not thinking that's their goal though it might prove to be their end-game...

Not even to mention that virtually every time they do a free shipping 'event' their site crashes... Go figure... Maybe best to shop where it's not an 'event' and one can actually access the retailer's site...
