STILL SHOP QVC, BUT MOSTLY ONLINE

{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}I have been shopping at QVC for about 25 years, but lately, mostly online and considerably less due to pricing, shipping and quality.

But the main reason is that there are too many egos, too much competition between hosts and guests and there are certain guests and hosts I simply do not like. Their behavior is reprehensible. But there are hosts that I really do like.

It seems that everyone has a sidekick and QVC will spend hours on one host or one vendor and it gets tiring. I travel alot for business and am not home that much so it is easier for me to simply shop online. I realize that QVC is a business but it has turned into a variety show with too many acts. Need more variety.

I kind of miss the old QVC.

I love the videos, short and to the point, and I generally mute them. I can see the colors, I don't need them described to me. Never watch live. Loathe the phone-ins.

I don't care for the callers either, Clover! It's the fastest way to get me to change the channel.

But I seldom watch. I do, however, check the 'recently aired' list almost every morning. But that's usually about a one minute endeavor. If there is anything that interests me I'll check on that hour to see what the items are. As probably a good example, this morning I looked at ONE actual item.

They've become too much like hsn for me - cheap junk and carnival barker type sales tactics.
