Being pretty won't keep a man, being smart
won't keep a man. A baby won't keep a man.
Heck, being a good woman won't keep a man.
The only thing that will keep a man is a
man that wants to be kept.
Accept what is,
Let go of what
was, and have
faith in what
will be.
Sometimes you have to let
go of the picture of what
you thought life would
be like and learn to find
joy in the story you are
living.
Have you ever gone out of your way to
help someone and found out how
ungrateful they are?
Sometimes all you can do is smile,
move on with your day, hold back
the tears and pretend you're okay.
--------
Ever look back and think of some of the people
you dated or wanted to date in High School...
and see them on Facebook and think, "WHEW!
I dodged a bullet on THAT one."
Common sense is a flower that doesn't
bloom in everyone's garden.
Why does toilet paper need commercials?
Who is not buying this?
If at first you don't succeed...try doing
it the way your wife told you.
If you don't swear while driving then
you're not paying attention to the
road at all.
You're never childless,
when you have a husband.
I hate it when you can't figure out how
to operate the lPAD and the resident
tech is asleep. Because he is 5 and
it's past his bedtime.
Drinking wine at home is much better
because you can drink in your pajamas
and there is NO LAST CALL.

The resident tech is very funny to me as that is who taught me most of what I know.I remember typing up a big report for a friend that took me hours and then I pressed one wrong button and it was gone.I awaited my 7 year old techs arrival from school to fix my problem. At first he told me to start over and when he saw that brought tears to my eyes he got on “that Machine”and found it for me.I still after 25 years keep my tech on staff.

@Lindsays Grandma Thank you for your post. I particularly found the first paragraph very meaningful. I've always thought how silly it sounds when women tell other women to " fight for their men".
What are you fighting for? He either wants to be with you or he wants someone else.
I appreciate that you took the time to post these sayings. Such great food for thought.
