I saw a blurb not long ago that said the winter forecast tor the NY area would be cold and snowy - suggesting more snow than recent years.

Fortunately, where I live - we have a great maintenance crew that keeps our walkways / sidewalks clear.

The big issue is trying the cross the streets!  Snow is piled at the curbs, and there are puddles of slush everywhere!

BUT OUR SIDEWALKS ARE CLEAR.   Smiley LOL

@ALRATIBA we had some flakes here too near Philadelphia this morning too. It was pretty & there weren't enough of them to make life difficult so I enjoyed it.

I counted about seven flakes and then it stopped.  Central Park has not had measurable snow in over 650 days!

It's 53 and sunny in upstate SC.  Supposed to drop to 28 tonight.

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.

@ALRATIBA  We live in a cul-de-sac, and that's where the plowed snow ends up. There are 1 1/2 storey mounds along the sidewalk. When the kids were little those mounds were for sliding/king of the hill/castles/mountains. They are always the last to go when we have a thaw.I sure hope we get them this year, because we have new little kiddies in our neighborhood.

@PA Mom-mom  You're post made me nostalgic for being a kid again lol. How much fun we used to have playing in the snow, sled riding, building a snowman.

No snow here today. It's 70°. Weird weather for December that's for sure. I'm just glad the Suns out. As long as the sun is shining I'm good with the weather.

We had two inches yesterday in Massachusetts. In the high 20's, no sun.

The sun will come out tomorrow (literally)

I am SO excited for those of you fortunate enough to be getting snow❄!!!😊 We have only had a ffuff, and are not projected to get measurable snow anytime soon, and that is probably a good thing! I will be traveling for the holidays, and snow created havoc at the airport here during the  BUSIEST travel days of the holiday season last year! 😐

I LOVE❤ it when I do not have to be out and about in it, and can sit and watch it fall from a window, or patio door!!😁

Enjoy your snow day!!!😊

~~~All we need is LOVE💖
I'm in NE PA and we had a heavy dusting this morning.
It has been dark,dreary and miserable for days.  Between the dark days and it actually getting dark by 5pm it is very drpressing.
I am someone who needs a little sunshine now and then.  If I don't see a good hour of sunshine soon I swear I will punch someone.  No, I would never do it but man, I would want to.
The older I get the more I detest this kind of weather.
