Has anyone tried these?

Do they have superior arch support?

I have a collapsed arch and need sturdy, not flimsy support.

Thanks

@catlover    Have you tried NurseMate shoes?  They have superior arch AND foot support.  I've gotten all of mine when they're featured on Zulily.

@catlover

I'm looking at my pair as I type this.

I have the Arch Fit Air Cooled grey with the pink shoelaces

My feet are comfortable all day long, I take the dog for walks and to me, they are comfortable but you know you have a shoe on if that makes sense.

I don't believe the shoelaces are the right weight for these shoes, I would change them out for a sturdier lace and a secure fit.

When you walk you feel a cushion and absorbs all your weight.

You gain an inch putting them on.

I would order them from Sketchers or possibly Zappos because they have free ship, free returns, just don't wear them outside, around the house would be fine.

Personally, I wouldn't order or buy another pair.  But, every foot is different.

Second,

I bought a pair of Orthofeet, I wanted a secure shoe for walking, wouldn't order another pair of those either.  The shoe seemed heavy to me and my feet were "tired" during the day.

Third,

I ordered a pair of Hoka One One BONDI 7, these are great shoes for walking and support.  They feel good on the foot and this shoe in particular is for support and cushion.  I like how they feel on the foot and I like the cushion even more than the Sketchers brand.  Free shipping and free returns and what I liked about the Hoka, I ordered a different style first and I returned them but as soon as I got back from the Post Office confirming the return, I had my account credited immediately.  That's great service and when I called for recommendations, the person was very knowledgeable about the shoes.  I also liked that they had a 30 day guarantee, wear them and if you don't like them, send them back but you can read everyone on the website.

Some of shoe stores carry this brand but not all style of this brand.   Very happy and would buy another pair when these wear out.

All these shoes were expensive but Hoka comes first, Sketchers is second and the Orthofeet came in 3rd.  BTW, forget about Easy Spirit and anything they offer, nothing has the support or cushion no matter what they say.

Hopes that helps.

@catlover I have a pair of Skechers Arch Fit slip ons.  I really like them although the arch support isn't super sturdy.  At first I thought the arch was a bit far back on the foot (compared to Birks anyway) so I wasn't sure if I would keep them.  But I have definitely gotten used to them and they provide much more arch support than regular Skechers.  If you need heavy duty arch support they may not be the shoe for you.

I have a normal arch - but a few years ago, I ordered 2 pairs of Skechers Tennis Shoes from the Q. NO Arch Support. I had to return. I love Rykas - but I'm sure there are other brands that will give u more Arch Support.

Skechers Arch Fit is a newer line of Skechers. You most likely didn't order from the Arch Fit collection if it was a few years ago. Here's the blurb for the newer ones:

Discover the ultimate comfort solution with podiatrist-certified arch support developed using over 20 years of data. Footwear in our Arch Fit collection features a removable, supportive cushioning insole system for a more comfortable walking experience.

I sent mine back to Zappos, hated them.  No room in the toe box, too narrow for me and the arch was nothing special.
