Re: SIGN AT THE WEEKEND RETREAT ...

I remember the days when you when I expecting an important call, I had to stay home all day to wait for it!    If anyone else called I would have to rush them off  No cell phones,  no call waiting, no voicemail, no caller ID, no call forwarding  no texting.   I can remember the busy signals as well.  I can remember trying to reach a company, and getting busy.   Although, life has changed, and cell phones have  changed our lives, for good and bad.... I don't miss waiting at home for calls, busy signal. Or, not being able to reach phone, loose the call...and being there was no caller ID back then, I wouldn't know who called.

@shoekitty There was something charming, in my opinion, about the drama of all of that....waiting by the phone, not knowing who it could be, looking at the phone and hoping it'd ring and be a guy you had in ind, etc. ha!
