I normally go in on Sundays to catch up my peeps, but went in today because expecting some weather tonight and tomorrow.  Wanted to update stuff and get Mondays payroll ready.  Rumor has it that auditors will be meeting with us (all timekeepers) for the next few weeks.  Yippie!  Want info from 2015 thru ?  They will pick randomly.  Glad my name isn't Random. LOL

I have it all, but I just don't want to deal with it. I "prefer" to "work" alone. I don't like my routine changed.  LOL   Like I even have a routine.

@Preds oh...aren't audits fun??  I loved getting prepared for them....weeks in advance. ....for what?  Ya can't change the past...your butt is just hangin on the line for other's mistakes!  Drink, sistah, drink!!!!

I haven't met an audit that I couldn't score yet.  I always have my stuff in order.  I just don't want to.

@Preds Yup, one just has to be organized and meticulous!  I remember one audit in which I was flagging the missing stuff.....someone else's stuff.....hilarious!  Made me feel good that that person sucked at the job!  Pay increase!!!!!! Grad school!!!!!  Good   bye!!!!!

Way to go @MickD!  I don't have the education, but I do have old school training.  Cover your a and keep copies.  LOL  Plus the fact that I've given my guys HE double ll to send me correct info and notify me of changes ASAP. 

After audits are done I do a happy dance.  I also get cursed by others because I did what they couldn't be bothered with.  I'm now to the point that ... I don't want to be bothered with it either. I learned from the best and I've tried to teach others.  This girl is done.  Higher education has taken over and listen to no one.  Fine with me.

Gosh, where has this afternoon gone?????

Looks like some of you have been busy posting.  Really haven't done much of anything today.  Just sort of goofing off.  Will change my tune tomorrow. 

Once again, was startled out of a very sound sleep during the night by thunder and lightening.  This happened several times.....and had a hard time going back to sleep.  Then woke up fairly early.  Know I will be ready to hit the hay early tonight.  Did try to watch some of the Cards' game, but got tired of them having to get the tarp over the field because of the rain.  Plus, we lost.  Maybe can do better tonight.  That's 3 games in a row that the Cards have lost now.  Gotta stop doing that......

A nice cool front moved in during the night.  Temps are supposed to be pretty nice all this next week.  Try the mid to upper 70's........  I can live with that.

Monday I go to the retina specialist.......  Here's hoping I get a good report this time.  My friend Shirley is picking me up.  Appointment is 11:50. 

Theresa gave me a nice sized container of soup yesterday evening.......so you know what I'm having for my supper.  That and some Italian bread for dunkin.......

Earlier this week I ordered a top from National.  It was 50% off.  It is in pale pink with white lace on the end of the sleeves and the bottom of the top.....henly neck line with tucking going 1/2 way down.  I ordered the navy earlier and liked it so much.    The pink will be cute with my white pants (Liz jeans). 

So Shell is swimmin today.  Hope she is using her sun block.  Am sure she is.....she's pretty smart about that kind of stuff.  Hope she is having fun with her family.

Preds......good luck with the audit.  Thank goodness I never had to go through that with any job I ever had. 

Loves.....had a nice dinner......and don't eat too much.....lol.

Mick.....hope DS is feeling better today since he went to work.  Sounds like your DH is busy getting things lined up with the business.

          Hi, ladies!   @shell garden,  I think you make a lovely mermaid!   Have fun with the family!    @MickD,  Might be good fortune that you don't need to visit the mall.    Find something fun and/or relaxing at home -- you deserve it!   @loveschocolate,  I hope you have a nice lunch with the family.   I also hope you're feeling healthier and stronger.   @Preds,  Oh, gosh, at work again.   You sound like me.   Wish I had money for all the nights and weekends I spent at work, but that's pretty normal for IT...  and I'm lucky in that I love working with computers and helping people who use them, so I guess it all balances out in the end.    Glad you're back home, and hope the weather doesn't get too bad.    I haven't even looked at our forecast yet...  better do that.    I'm getting the first signs of a migraine, not feeling so great and maybe the barometric pressure has caused it.

          @ShowMe,  hi, there!   I posted last night, so as far as I can tell I'm not MIA...  although my brain is not "in gear" today, so that part is MIA. 😜   You're all set for a nice dinner, and your purchase sounds really pretty!    Good for you!    I hope you have a restful weekend, and I send prayers and positive thoughts to you for your visit on Monday.

@ShowMe The top sounds really cute....can't go wrong with pink!  I'm sorry you didn't sleep well last night.....sorry your Cards have been losing lately...

It looks like DS will make it through his 8 hour shift.  I am planning on making chicken stir fry, but will wait to see if DS wants it. His OCD is just getting in the way of his normally sweet nature.....and mine....wait, I don't have a sweet nature....hahaha!

I have a splitting headache due to the dry heat...I get that when it is cold too....go figure....drinking a lot.....cubes and water that is!!!!!
