Happy Hump Day......

Well, I've been to the grocery store and back. Have put all away, now I'm ready for a snack. My car purred like a kitten today. Thank goodness. Wasn't hungry for lunch, but now I am. I need to get a snack now. Guess I will be having my dinner a little later than usual......

It was a beautiful day here.....right now it is about 51 out there. It is supposed to get up to 61 on Christmas Day with rain. Boy, what a difference a few days can make. At least the furnace won't be running very much. And, that is good on the wallet.....

loves.....sorry your DH is feeling sickly..... Hope you and DD don't get it.

My heart and prayers go out to those that have been injured or killed in the incidents that occurred over the weekend. Such a bad time of the year for that sort of happenings.

Think my sister has had enough bad things happen to her the last few days. First, a leak was found in her fireplace.....had to have the plumber....yes plumber, come to fix it. Then she had to open the living room window so that no gas built up in there until the leak was fixed. Then the alarm light would not go on because of the connection.....that got fixed today. And final thing that went wrong was that the timer on her 20+ year old stove decided it wanted to start buzzing and she couldn't get it to shut off. The repair man was there early this morning. He told her after checking to see if the part that was needed was in stock that it was no longer able to be gotten any place. They quit making that part. So, she is having to go out this afternoon to get a new stove. That she really wasn't expecting. So, you know what she is doing right now. She is having folks in for Christmas dinner and needs to have a stove..... Said she hopes a new one can be delivered tomorrow......

That is all that is new here.

@Preds, good morning! Well, DH went to work and came back home half an hour later. He's in bed. I still need to bake 2 more batches of cookies, wrap some presents and finish doing DD's laundry. Need to pick up some groceries tomorrow. I just know I am going to get his crud. Using Lysol on everything!!! What are you up too????
