RIP sweet Cardinal Girl....what a shock...blessings to her friends and family.

@ShowMe I always liked Lou Brock, the best base stealer in the game. He, along

with all the players in 1965, autographed the baseball that Mike Shannon gave to

my son.

Wish I could post the pics on here, but won't.

Just googled the Cards, and they have 9 games to go, and are in contention for a wild card spot. Hope they make it.

Yes Lesa, Lou Brock has many fans.....  And so does Mike Shannon.  Mike still announces the games on the radio. 

Wish you could post the pictures too.  Would be neat to see them. 

Have been sort of keeping my eye on the last games (just the scores).  Gooday told me yesterday they we were playing the Cubs and I switched it on.....and we were winning.  But I couldn't continue to watch the game.....  Would be neat if we could win to be in the playoffs.....

Yes, that was such sad news about our CardinalGirl.  She will really be missed by a lot of folks on these boards.  Had so many friends.  I did a lot of reading of her posts this morning.  Lots of tears.....
