Many items that I ordered weeks ago for Halloween and Fall and we’re supposed to ship out yesterday and today have been changed. Now items will ship out ten days before Halloween. I might just cancel my orders because why bother. I realize that shipping has been delayed but the Q needs to take that into consideration when presenting the item. When items are not in the warehouse they shouldn’t give a ship date. I’ve noticed that many people are canceling orders due to delayed shipping.

Agree. It's getting worse by the day. They are representing order dates that are a week after the order was actually submitted and then nothing -  no delivery, no information, misinformation from customer service that is read off a prepared script and all of this for up to up to 3 weeks after order entry. Insult to injury, QVC charges customers premium shipping costs for very poor shipping services.  QVC claims it's "global and national shipping challenges".   Curiously, their competitors aren't having the same challenges. Respect for customers, honest iinformation about delayed orders,  honest delivery estimates and fair delivery pricing must return to QVC or this customer is done.

Re: SHIPPING ISSUES

[ Edited ]

I have been noticing sites where I wanted to order and have done so in the past,  have really raised shipping costs, or just taken away free shipping minimum. I hate when they do this.....the site gives a "$10 off' coupon, then tacks on a $10.99 basic shipping charge. Deal breaker. At least make the coupon more so I can actually save a little money.

@Gracie D    A couple of corrections to your statement:

1.  QVC DOES NOT charge premium shipping rates.  THEIRS are among the lowest.

2.  All retailers are being affected equally by the shipping crisis.  Those huge container ships carry good for hundreds of businesses.  They all arrive at the same rate.

@Kachina624  is correct.  MANY other retailers are NOT shipping as fast including almight Amazon....no two days here!

and to add @Gracie D   @usffan

Those are ESTIMATED delivery dates.  QVC knows better than to guarantee anything esp with the delays that are caused by USPS, UPS and FEDEX themselves.

Also, chances are you can NOT just cancel the order.  If it is in process, you will probably not be able to cancel.  Just be patient or the return will be on you.

I would strongly disagree that other retailers are not having this problem. Many of the places I shop (Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma, The Company Store plus small vendors have NO stock and estimated advanced order dates). Go in-store to a retailer like IKEA and many items are a back order.

Instead of complaining, as consumers, we need to be a bit more understanding and consider the potential economic devastation to many companies right now. I fear many vendors are going to get stuck with a ton of merchandise that arrives after the holiday season that normally would have sold at a higher profit margin and will have to be sold at deep discounts.

Per shipping issue.  My distrust with FedEx continues to hold true.  This morning I found out they lost my package.  I'm getting a refund, but I'm still annoyed with them.  I never see to have half the  problems with UPS, Amazon or USPS.  But FedEx still holds the record.

Right - and those huge container ships are now waiting in the harbors on both coasts to unload their merchandise.  It's being blamed on a lack of people to unload and truck drivers to deliver  due in part to a problem issuing temporary work visas.

@usffan ...Good luck with trying to cancel your orders.  Hasn't worked well for me - once they get you locked in, 'most of the time', it's a done deal and can't be cancelled.
