Perhaps I'm in the minority @Goodie2shoes  but I find the new HSN shipping rates very fair. With a $75 purchase it's free. I  load my cart for days, or weeks, whatever it takes to get to $75 then purchase. If I really want items, it's only $5.95 total. I think this is more than fair. I also wish QVC would offer the same.

Problem with loading a cart way in advance is that some prices that are lowered are only lowered for a short time and whn you finally check out some prices have gone way up again.  I dont find this new systemtot be fair at all, i have not paid shipping on HSN in quite a long time and not going to now. I feel very sorry for the vendors that this may affect negatively.

It's fair if you buy multiple items at one time, yes that's a bargin but for those like me who don't buy multiple items and have no need to do that it's not fair. I stopped shopping at Shop HQ several years ago because of the outrageous shipping charges. I shopped mostly for Iman clothing but I have enough to last for years so I will save money. It's actually a good thing for me as well ! Woman LOL

@Etoile308 @chrystaltree   You may want to contact HSN CS and see if you can reinstate your AS as HSN addressed this last night on their FB page:

prior AS will NOT be affected and will remain FREE.

I don't see it as a positive because I rarely buy more than one item. I ordered eyeliners, canceled when I saw the charge.

@FiddleDeeDee, thank you for letting me know. Odd that they would address it on Facebook and not somewhere on their actual site.

But I decided to cancel these orders with no turning back. These weren't items I needed so decided to save myself money.

I was one of those type customers that never minded buying one item at a time since often things were that day event pricing or I was concerned about colors or shades selling out.

Unless there's a line featured with reduce prices, and there are several things I'm interested in, I don't see myself buying nearly as much as I had in the past.

@Etoile308  I understand. I would hate to think you cancelled some items you really enjoyed because of a lack of information.

The pre-sale of Curtis Stones TS has begun and it's salmon and cod; autoship is offered so that's what I chose. However, small print on the first page states that ALL AS will have a $5.95 charge and the free shipping is ONLY on the first one. So, I called CS. Here is what I was told:

CS believes that they WILL be free because the cost is OVER $75. Amy item that is purchased over $75 is free shipping so and each AS is a new charge so.... there it is.

However, if HSN doesn't consider an autoship to be a "new" purchase, then, charging the shipping WOULD be ok in their eyes. It really is going to come to how the wording is interpreted by the HSN. In her humble opinion, by NOT allowing AS to ship for free, it's going to cause a nightmare because customers are going to demand the refund and/or CANCEL and reorder the product for free shipping which hurts HSN AND the vendor. We both agreed that this wasn't thought-out very well before launching.

I went ahead and ordered the cod. I'll see on the second shipment if it charges me a fee.
