shame on QVC!

You should show both the original price and the clearance price on the TV screen so the viewer/consumer can see what kind of "special markdown( if much of one)" they are getting. To only show the TV viewer the clearance price is just plain BAD BUSINESS. You are not fooling anyone except yourself in making yourself look sleazy in your business practices.

Well, when the clearance price is only $5 less than the normal price, even QVC is ashamed to publicize it.

I thought it was just me noticing that.

The only solution is, to not buy.

I don't know who is calling the shots these days but the Q becomes less and less honorable.

I think that the term "shame" has not only gone out of fashion, but is considered politically incorrect and demeaning these days.

Problem is, it is a necessary thing to feel in life, if you are to build good character. Another of the many reasons society isn't what it should be, as we continue to avoid the horrors of making people responsible, strong, independent, compassionate and honorable. There is much in this world that is shameful, and many people who absolutely should feel shame. But let's not upset anyone.

I've noticed it too and Ita with you. I think the Q's "honorability" has gone down the tubes.

As others have noted, it would only emphasize how the buyer is not getting much of a deal.

I don't know if I'd go so far as to call this "sleazy and shameful" ..... but I've always noted the QVC prices and Retail prices listed when I looking at things here on their website.

IMO, what it really boils down to is do you want the item ... or not?

And the high S &H can't help QVC either when most places ship for FREE
