I followed this case very closely. Berkeley is my hometown, and I know the Berkeley Marina very well.
Everything about Scott Peterson's defense was suspicious.
Going to the Berkeley Marina to launch your boat to fish on
Christmas Eve was very strange. For him, it made sense because
very few people would be there.
Where he is now residing: San Quentin, is perfect for him. He
can be constantly reminded of what he did looking out on the
Bay.

@Susan in California Regarding your last sentence, I don't think he gives a hoot about what he did other than it landed him in jail. Remorse? None.

Hahaha. "Darling you know I love you but you're going to have to take my name if it's ever going to work."

The woman he was seeing was a temporary someone on the side and probably just the latest in a string of them.
He told the woman he was seeing that his wife was dead. He was also witnessed by a neighbor carrying out a big rug with something inside it. Sorry, but this is fantasy if you think someone else planned this and by coincidence knew he had been fishing, etc. etc. And by the way, the baby died with her in the bay.
Yes, and Connor's body was much more intact than Laci's body, because he was protected by her uterus.
That's speculation. Had he been born alive and lived longer than Lacy, the result would be the same.
So much of the case was based on just that, speculation and theories. Scott was carrying something that looks like it could be a rug. It could also be a bag containing fishing gear, life jackets, or a change of cloths.
Lots of innocent people are convicted on theories, speculation, and "suspicious" behavior. Just saw on the news, a man was released from prison after serving 30 years for a crime he did not committ.
Maybe Scott is guilty, but the prosecution didn't prove it.
They obviously did. How do you think he ended up on death row in the first place? You may not like the way it was presented by the prosecution nor the facts presented, but it was a conviction proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

My nephew was a prison guard at San Quentin's death row, he said that of all the inmates he met in his years, he believed Scott Peterson was the only innocent one.
I am curious @FatCatinCT why does he think Scott Peterson is innocent?
Good question. I will be going to Florida in two weeks and will be seeing him, I will ask. (He's now retired) At the time, I was more interested in hearing all about Charles Manson.

@FatCatinCT I will be very interested in that and will look forward to seeing what he says. I like to be fair and hear all the facts without automatically assuming guilt.

"Assuming guilt?" . It's been proven in a court of law with all the jurors agreeing with the prosecutor about his guilt.

As someone who worked in the Superior Court for over 20 years, stranger things have happened. I've seen it all, heard it all. And, I'm putting this out there.... in my gut opinion, Jennifer Dulos is still alive and well. Leaving it at that and time will tell....

@FatCatinCT In my gut opinion Jim Morrison is still alive and living in Paris.
