A KF94 is the South Korean version of the American an N95. While we usually refer to theses as masks, they are technically known as respirators. They are tested by the S. Korean government. The KF stands for Korean Filter and the 94 stands for its filtration efficiency, or ability to filter out particles including viruses. The KF94 comes with side flaps which can be molded to your face and it can be adjusted to fit your nose. Unlinke the K95,with head loops, the Korean mask has ear loops. A study from 2021 found it comparable to the N95 masks in blocking out coronavirus particles. study
