Such a beautiful family - they truly seem in love with each other.  Their older daughter is adorable.

@Shelbelle  I don't know, but assume it's like Inez.

Re: Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively Finally Reveal Second Daughter's Name

I have been intensely interested in names since I was a child. Isn't their first daughter's name "James"?   To me, "James and "Ines" don't really sound harmonious as siblings.

Number one, I don't really like when parents bestow classic boys' names on their daughters.  Then you add in "Ines", and the two names seem to have nothing to do with each other-- they each represent a different naming "style".

For example, I don't like "James" for a girl, but if you did name a girl James, then the next daughter something like "Toby", at least there would be a little consistency there...

Or consider the name "Inez" (I prefer that spelling). Inez is an interesting throwback name-- isn't it the Spanish version of "Agnes"-- then for a sibling you could pick another traditional, vintage girl's name, like "Audrey", maybe....

Re: Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively Finally Reveal Second Daughter's Name

I couldn't believe they named their daughter James.  Perhaps it was after a much-loved relative?... however names that are different, unusual or something that would cause undo controversy for the child should be carefully considered.  Kids will take a name (like a boys name for a girl) and run with it .... consider the actress who named her little girl Apple.

The baby's name is pretty IMHO and may reflect another relative or friend they admire or even heritage we may not be privy to.... It's hard to tell but I wish them all well.... they're a beautiful family.

  • My neighbor who is actually more like family is named Ines.  She is a kind and warm spirit. What a lovely young family. Those baby girls are beautiful!
