Russell Brand? Can someone explain........

I honestly do not understand Russell Brand.{#emotions_dlg.blush} I don't know if I like him or not. Can someone explain to me what exactly he is or does? An actor or a comedian? I mean, he is funny, but he has me perplexed. When did he become famous? The first I ever saw or heard of him was when he was on that awards show with Britney Spears and drove off with her on a golf cart!

I'm thinking he may be OK{#emotions_dlg.biggrin}
